Chicago Society Brings Attention to Kosovo’s Future with an Event Featured in Kosovo and Serbia’s Largest Newspapers
May 2005 — On May 5, Chicago Society hosted an event titled “Envisioning Kosovo: Prospects for an Uncertain Future,” featuring Janusz Bugajski, director of the Eastern Europe Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Professor John J. Mearsheimer, professor of political science at Chicago.
The event, which helped bring attention to a potentially explosive issue that has recently been largely overlooked by the world community, was covered by at least four news agencies in the Balkans and featured in a page-two article in Kosovo’s largest newspaper.
