Super Freakonomics

This event featured Professor Steven D. Levitt, the co-author of the best-selling novel Freakonomics as well as the Alvin Baum Professor of Economics and the Director of the Becker Center on Chicago Price Theory. Levitt was chosen as one of Time Magazine’s “100 People Who Shape Our World” in 2006. Best known among economists for his work on crime, in particular regarding the impact of legalized abortion on crime, he is the winner of the 2003 John Bates Clark Medal.
Levitt and Stephen Dubner have a blog on the New York Times that continues the discussion from their book and is aptly named Freakonomics.
